Pranic Healing® is system of energy healing based on the knowledge of the Chakra system that utilizes Universal Energy called "Prana" to balance, harmonize and transform the body's energy processes. Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life-force. This invisible bio-energy (Universal Energy) keeps the body alive and maintains a state of good health.
About Pranic Healing.
Pranic Healing® was developed by GrandMaster Choa Kok Sui. In India “Pranic Healing” is considered to be a part of the Ancient Yoga Vidya System of Wisdom and Knowledge. Master Choa Kok Sui, states that this form of Energy Healing also derives its roots from Chinese Traditional Medicine.
The treatment is applied above the skin (there is no physical contact between practitioner and client) on the bio-electromagnetic field known as the aura, or energy body, which is a mold or blueprint that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. This method is based on two principles: The first is that the body absorbs "Prana" and distributes it throughout the physical body, to the muscles, organs, glands, etc. The second is that Pranic Healing® works on the energy body is that physical ailments first appear as energetic disruptions in the aura before manifesting as problems in the physical body.

Like Reiki, Pranic Healing can be practice on yourself as well as others; unlike Reiki there is no attunement to be able to practice Pranic Healing but a series of classes offered through The Center for Pranic Healing or their official website.
Master Choa Kok Sui wrote many book describing each class content in great details. Pranic Healing can be understood by reading Miracles Through Pranic Healing, Advanced Pranic Healing, Pranic Pschotherapy, Pranic Crystal Healing and Pranic Psychic Self Defense Books. These 5 books contain the necessary protocols to work on yourself & others, as well as address physical, emotional and psychological issues, using crystals to increase the healing rate, and techniques to protect yourself from negative energies.
Pranic Healing use 2 basic techniques: the first is the removal of the negative energy which is similar to a shamanic extraction and the second is the giving of energy or Prana using ones hands. The extraction can be done with hands or crystal. Crystals are also used to break down the negative energy (the disintegrator) and to energize (the laser) . Pranic Healing and the Use of Crystals
Master Choa Kok Sui describes crystals as subtle energy condensers that we use for healing because they can absorb, store, and project pranic energy.
According to Pranic Healing, we have three main sources of energy: The sun, the air, and the earth are the main sources of chi or prana that we gather from our surroundings. Crystals contain condensed earth prana that can be easily absorbed and digested by our energy body. Most people, especially when they are sick, vibrate at a level that is closer to the earth than the more refined energies such as solar prana or divine energy. This makes the use of crystals when doing energy work highly effective.
A laser crystal, as referred to by Pranic Healers, is eighteen sided, completely clear with little or no inclusions, sharply pointed at one end and concave at the other, sometimes with a gold rod at the end to further condense energy. the angle of the cut is that of the Vogel Cut Crystal which has an angle or %1.3 degree to resonate to the molecule of water which is a carrier of information. See he reserch on the molecule of water of Masuro Emotto who was a student of Marcel Vogel.
The instrument can be used like a chisel to vigorously chop up stagnant, congested energy or gently paint a person’s aura with soothing, healing energy. It is beneficial when cutting cords, drawing out negative or unwanted energy, and protecting one’s environment from outside energy contaminants.
The color of a crystal determines the effect it will have on the energy body because the stone emanates energy based on its hue. If you need help decongesting the lungs with green prana, then lay a green stone between your shoulder blades. The green aura from the crystal will be partially absorbed into your body to be used for healing.
Crystals also have the innate ability to absorb all energy from the surroundings, good or bad. Therefore, cleaning your crystals, stones, and gems after purchasing and in between each healing is extremely important to ensure proper transference of energy. You can do this by leaving it in saltwater overnight, placing it in front of a speaker while playing the mantra OM, or even by laying them next to incense while it is burning. This can also be done with jewelry. These simple techniques minimize the chances of contaminating yourself and your future clients from unwanted energy. Specific crystal called extractors can be use for cleansing and extractors to break down the patten of energy to be dissipated. The Activator crystal have a different shape and used to charge a chakra.
Crystals Can Be Programmed
Spiritually, crystals are the enlightened beings of the mineral kingdom. They have the ability to be programmed due to their subtle level of consciousness. It is always advisable to invoke for the help, guidance, and protection from God and all of your spiritual teachers before programming any of your stones for healing. Not only will this make your consecration safer, but exponentially more powerful as well.
Using crystals and other stones for absorbing excess amounts of energy and transferring them to your clients is a wonderful way to increase your healing potential. Without draining the physical body or contaminating the practitioner and reducing the amount of time needed to see lasting results, crystals are an amazing tool for any healer to introduce into their practice.
Pranic Healing Energization Exercises and Meditations
A serie or energization exercises very similar to Kriya Yoga (see below); and meditations involving visualization and segments of guided meditation. One popular meditation is the meditation on twin hearts.
The Meditation on Twin Hearts
This truly special meditation technique was developed by Master Choa Kok Sui. It works on the physical, mental, and spiritual levels to open the heart chakra (the emotional heart) and the crown chakra (the spiritual heart), thereby enabling you to draw down a great amount of high-quality divine energy into the crown. The prana that this meditation produces greatly promotes physical and mental health as well as inner illumination.
When practiced regularly, it brings about a deep inner transformation and expansion of consciousness so that you achieve illumination, self-realization, perfect harmony and oneness with God.
The twin hearts refer to the heart chakra, the center of the emotional heart, and the crown chakra, the center of the divine heart.
Here is another version of the Twin Heart Meditation.
When you meditate on these twin hearts, divine energy flows into your crown chakra from where it is distributed to all parts of the body. The crown chakra can be activated only when the heart chakra is sufficiently activated. While there are many techniques for activating the chakras, the most effective, safest and fastest way is through using the heart and crown chakras for blessing the earth with loving kindness. As they become channels for the flow of spiritual energies, they get activated in the process. And by blessing the earth and all sentient beings, you are in turn blessed many times. It is in giving that you receive—that is the law.
Kriya Yoga from Paramhansa Yoganada
Paramahansa Yogananda provides a description of Kriya Yoga in his Autobiography of a Yogi. The actual technique is given to students of the Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons after a preliminary period of study and practice of the three preparatory techniques taught by Paramahansa Yogananda. Taken together as a comprehensive system, these meditation techniques enable the practitioner to achieve the highest benefits and divine goal of the ancient yoga science.
Developed by Paramahansa Yogananda in 1916, the Energization Exercises prepare the body for meditation Tking about fifteen minutes to perform, they are one of the most effective means of eliminating stress and nervous tension. Practicing them prior to meditation is a great help in entering a calm, interiorized state of awareness.

Kriya Yoga meditation technique includes several mantras
Using the Hong-Sau mantra meditation helps to develop one’s latent powers of focused concentration.
The Aum mantra meditation expands awareness beyond limitations of body and mind to experience the all-pervading Divine Presence as Aum.
The Kriya Yoga Technique is an advanced Raja Yoga technique of pranayama (life-energy control). Kriya reinforces and revitalizes subtle currents of life energy (prana) in the spine and brain. The breathing techniques such as Nadi Sodhaha are used as well as pose similar to the Falun Gong standing meditation exercise #2 in which is a tree pose is held with hands at the height of the third eye.
Five Pranayama breathing techniques by Joshua Scott includes the Nadi Sodhaha breath
There are many benefit to a regular meditation practice, such as :
relaxation, stress reduction, concentration, boosts the immune system, lowers blood pressure, develops intuition, imcreases compassion, Experience a sense of Oneness... But Frederick P has compiled 100 of these benefits.
